About Stevens Consulting

Stevens Consulting assists both public and private sector clients with environmental planning and compliance services. We help clients comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act, California Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and National Historic Preservation Act, as well as other environmental laws and regulations.

With a focus on the water resources sector, our experience encompasses water supply, water quality, flood control, and ecosystem restoration projects, We have extensive experience with environmental compliance related to water rights and water transfers, and bring a strong working knowledge of California water rights.

Craig Stevens founded Stevens Consulting in 2006 after serving for 16 years as a project director and project manager for a large environmental consulting firm. He has more than 20 years of project management experience to assist clients in negotiating the often complex legal and technical aspects of the environmental compliance process. Mr. Stevens has co-taught courses on CEQA compliance for staff of two state agencies, and co-authored the compliance document, "A Guide to Regulatory Compliance for Implementing CALFED Actions."

Mr. Stevens is also on the Board of Directors for the Superior California Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals.
